* Fire Extinguisher TrainingFire Extinguisher Training
Time: 9:00 am
We are asking that everyone attend one of the four (4) Fire Extinguisher training classes for employees that work in City Hall, Economic Development, and the Municipal Business Center. The training will consist of a short video, questions and answers with the Fire Dept., and hands-on training in the Fire Dept. parking lot. The training will last approximately 1 hour (depending on class size). Please let Ken Mullinax know if you cannot attend one of these sessions and I will assist you in scheduling a time to participate in the training with one of the other divisions (i.e. Public Works, Recreation, Police, etc.).

Canned food drive for the United Way. A box for the canned food is located in each division/department. Regular and large cans needed. Will be provided to Anderson Interfaith Ministries and Soup Kitchen. Additional Thanksgiving suggestions: canned green beans, boxed macaroni & cheese, boxed instant mashed potatoes, boxes/bags stuffing mix, canned cranberry sauce, canned corn, large canned yams, box/pkg dessert mix.
